What is Confirmed Conventioneers?
One of the most beloved events at Convention, this is truly a time to relax, have fun and celebrate our sisterhood. This is the most casual night of Convention and will not feature any formal programming. Instead, we will have an evening that encourages you to mix and mingle with other Convention attendees while enjoying food stations, fun photo opportunities, music and dancing.

Each year, a hat is selected for the event. Attendees are asked to decorate their hat with one carnation for every Convention they have attended. A contest (with prizes) is held to award the best Confirmed Conventioneers hats. While some attendees keep it simple, others will go all out to win the coveted best hat title.

The highlight of the evening is our Confirmed Conventioneers parade. Those who have attended five or more Conventions are asked to march in the parade. Parade participation is a great honor and highly coveted amongst Gamma Phi Convention attendees. The member who has attended the most Conventions is asked to lead the parade. This woman is revered and seeing her joy as she leads the parade is a Convention highlight for many.

Keynote Speaker, Tianna Faye Soto – She Who Runs with Wolves
(virtual)
Within every woman, there is a powerful force of passion, intuition and wisdom. Over time, during our pursuit of accolades, achievements and status, it can be easy to lose sight of that power. As a result, we may feel anxious, unfulfilled or even depressed. As women, how do we reground, reconnect and regain confidence in ourselves? How can we start to amplify our authentic voice and start living in alignment with our true selves?

Tianna’s wellness journey began in college when she learned to overcome stress, anxiety and burnout through practices like yoga, mindfulness and meditation. Over the years, she has supported countless women in their journeys to self-confidence and empowerment. Join us for an empowering and thought-provoking conversation that will equip you with the skills and tools necessary to cultivate confidence and embrace your inner “wild woman.”

Utilizing her expertise in mental health, psychology and holistic wellness, Tianna teaches college women strategies for amplifying their voices and cultivating confidence in conversations, relationships and moments of decision-making. Inspired by the “wild woman” archetype in Jungian psychology, or “the woman who runs with wolves,” Tianna empowers women to feel confident and aligned in mind, body and soul. During this program, Tianna leads attendees through profound writing and reflection exercises to help them express themselves authentically.
