Scholarships, Fellowships, and Leadership Grants
The Gamma Phi Beta Foundation is dedicated to investing in our sisters and building strong and confident women who make a difference in the world around us! One of the ways we do this is by providing scholarships (undergraduate), fellowships (graduate), and leadership grants to our members, through chapter endowments.
In 2025-26 we granted our sisters more than $450,000 in scholarships and fellowships!
Applications for scholarships and fellowships open in January and close in March. For more information click here.
If your chapter has a Leadership Endowment, those can be granted throughout the year, please contact the Foundation for more information!

Ways the Foundation Supports our Chapters
These programs are fully or partially funded by the Foundation and provided by the Sorority:
- REAL Leadership Experience
- REAL Leadership Institute
- Convention workshops and speakers
- Collegiate Leadership Consultant Program
- Volunteer and officer training
- Gamma Phi Beta historical preservation
- Fidelity and member education programming
Ways our Chapters Support the Foundation
Gamma Phi Beta chapters across the country support the Foundation through their secondary philanthropy events or any philanthropy event other than Moonball™. 50% of funds raised at these events are given to the chapter's choice of international or local council of Girls on the Run. The other 50% of the funds raised are donated to the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation, to give back to our sisters. Chapters can choose to designate these funds towards investing in sisterhood, loyalty grants, BEDI initiatives, or the chapter’s established endowment.
Chapter can also choose to budget chapter funds to donate to the Foundation annually. Chapters can join one of our giving societies by giving an unrestricted gift. These chapters will be recognized in our annual impact report!
