Invest in the Area of Greatest Need, Invest in our Sisterhood

Your unrestricted gift provides the Foundation the opportunity to support Gamma Phi Beta’s current needs. This avenue ensures the Foundation and Sorority’s missions are met and that member experiences continue now and in the future.

Continue Your Legacy through Estate Planning and the Tau Epsilon Pi Society

Donors with arranged bequests, life income gifts (annuities or trusts) or gifts of life insurance for the Foundation become a member of the Foundation’s Tau Epsilon Pi Society. These gifts to the Foundation can be designated or unrestricted, according to the donor's wishes.

Planned gifts include:

  • Stocks, bonds or mutual funds.
  • Real estate.
  • Retirement plan assets.
  • Life insurance assets.
  • Bequests, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts.

If you have included the Foundation in your estate plans, we would love to know so we can recognize you as a member of the TEP Society. Please use this form to notify staff of your gift.

Please confer with your legal representative when making estate planning decisions.

Gamma Phi Beta Foundation’s Tau Epsilon Pi Society (TEII) is made up of nearly 200 members who arranged gifts to the Foundation through thoughtful estate planning.

Multiply Your Generosity

Matching gift programs are a type of corporate giving where companies match the gifts their employees make to nonprofit organizations. Ask your employer if they have a matching gift program in order for your donation to provide significantly more support for Gamma Phi Beta.

Not sure where to start? Ask your company’s Human Resources department to see what options are available.

Make a Tax-Free Gift

Beginning the year you turn 72, you can make a gift of any amount (up to $100,000) per year from your Individual Retirement Arrangements (IRA) directly to a qualified charity, like the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation which will satisfy all or part of your required minimum distribution.

You pay no income taxes on the gift. The transfer generates neither taxable income nor a tax deduction, so you benefit even if you do not itemize your deductions. Since the gift doesn’t count as income, it can reduce your annual income level. This may help lower your Medicare premiums and decrease the amount of Social Security that is subject to tax.

Regardless of which way you choose to donate, you’re investing in our sisterhood.
