Convention 1929: Kansas City, Missouri

Conventioneers gathered June 24-29, 1929 at the Ambassador Hotel in Kansas City, Missouri, for the 36th Convention. For the first time, outside speakers were brought in to present to Conventioneers. The Dean of Denver St. John’s Cathedral, a former president of Kappa Alpha Theta and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma made presentations at the event. Also at this Convention, camping was adopted as the organization’s national philanthropy.
