Epsilon Phi Chapter (Bentley)
Epsilon Phi Chapter was installed at Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts, on December 8, 1991.
Beautiful and emotional describe the mood when the Gamma Phi Beta charter was presented to the Epsilon Phi Chapter at Bentley College December 8, 1991. Just three months after accepting a 34-member local sorority's invitation to colonize, Gamma Phi Beta initiated 50 collegians and one alumna. Delta Chapter (Boston) did a fabulous job performing the Initiation ceremony the day before the Installation brunch.
More than 70 guests, friends, family and campus administrators joined the Gamma Phi initiates, celebrating their Installation at the Boston-Waltham Vista Hotel. Alumnae Vice President Camille A. Cestone (Bowling Green) presented the charter and Janet Parker Whitcomb (California State-Long Beach), assistant to the director of extension-installations, was the master of ceremonies at the Installation brunch. International Ritual Chairman Audrey Weldon Shafer (Missouri) and Laura Hatch and Margo Wimer, collegiate leadership consultants, were also on hand to represent international Gamma Phi Beta.
One of the highlights of the celebration was Girl Scout Council Representative Joan Denton accepting a $1,000 check from the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation on behalf of Cedar Hill Girl Scout Camp in Waltham.
