Celebrate 150 Years in Syracuse, New York

Celebrate 150 years of Gamma Phi Beta history, observe our sacred ritual and embrace our True and Constant sisterhood in Syracuse, New York, from November 8-10, 2024. Join your sisters at the Marriott Syracuse Downtown for a weekend of celebration and connection, all in honor of our 150th anniversary and our Founders Day.

Who should go?

Coast-to-Coast Celebration weekends are open to all members of Gamma Phi Beta. We encourage all collegiate and alumna chapters in East 1 to consider sending chapter representatives to the Coast-to-Coast Celebration in Syracuse. For those who do not live in the area but want an excuse to plan a weekend away at our founding chapter, you are encouraged to attend as well! We hope you use this weekend to reconnect with sisters and celebrate friendships and Gamma Phi Beta.

The weekend will be spent celebrating Gamma Phi Beta’s 150th anniversary, a momentous milestone for the Sorority, with a celebratory dinner, Traveling Exhibit, 150th Celebration Ritual Service and optional sisterhood activities. The celebration in Syracuse will be extra special since we are traveling ‘home’ to where our Founders first envisioned our organization. The event will also include a welcome reception, campus tours, a walk-through of Alpha Chapter’s facility, opportunities to participate in our Initiation and Founders ritual and a farewell breakfast.

We hope these Coast-to-Coast Celebrations allow you the opportunity to reconnect with sisters from across the globe while also creating new connections. This will be the culminating event in our series of 150th celebrations across the United States and Canada.
