The Clara Project

The Clara Project is an alumnae program designed to cultivate board-level leadership skills and prepare members for volunteer boards, committees and governance roles. This eight-week virtual experience combines live weekly sessions, asynchronous online learning and case-study practice to help alumnae identify strengths, close skill gaps and understand how board service supports Gamma Phi Beta’s mission.

Sisters Helping Sisters

Loyalty Grants

When unexpected hardships arise, Loyalty Grants provide sisters with financial relief for housing, medical bills, travel or tuition. These grants are a lifeline that keeps members connected to Gamma Phi Beta during challenging times.

46 sisters received a Loyalty Grant in 2024-25, with total support exceeding $73,144.

“Being a Gamma Phi Beta has been one of the highlights of my life. After Hurricanes Helene and Milton, my life turned upside down. We lost everything in our home. I am eternally grateful for this Loyalty Grant. There is nothing my family can do to reverse time, but we can start to rebuild. I am so thankful for the kindness of the Foundation and donors for helping me through these hard times.” —2024 Loyalty Grant recipient

Providing In-Person Support to Collegiate Chapters

Collegiate Leadership Consultant (CLC) Program

Our CLCs travel to chapters across North America, providing hands-on coaching, mentorship and leadership development. Their visits strengthen chapter operations and sisterhood alike.

CLC visits reached 42 collegiate chapters during the 2024-25 academic year, providing targeted, in-person operational and leadership support.

“[Our CLC] helped me delegate my workload to the other positions. She also helped me realize that some of the jobs I was doing were technically not necessary in my position. She made my life easier. Additionally, I have gained a better understanding of my position, its role within the Sorority and where to find resources that will answer any questions I may have. I can pass this information down to the next PRVP to ensure that she has all the necessary information to do her job efficiently.” —Collegiate chapter member

Ensuring Our True and Constant Story Is Told

Historical Preservation

Gamma Phi Beta partnered with HistoryIT to digitize our vast archives and museum, so all members have access to the 150+ years of memories, milestones and sisterhood. Once held at International Headquarters or individual collegiate chapters, a selection of our wealth of historical materials, including photographs, letters, scrapbooks, jewelry and more are now accessible digitally.

Historical preservation work expanded this year with new displays underway for Canada, Alpha Zeta Chapter (Texas-Austin) and Alpha Xi Chapter (Southern Methodist). Significant improvements began with the site’s user experience, including navigation updates and plans for a more accessible, intuitive design.

"I think preserving our history keeps us true to the Core Values of our Founders. It doesn't mean we shouldn't change, but it provides a guiding star to ensure that our changes align with these values. Let's keep Gamma Phi Beta’s history alive and well for future sisters to enjoy." —Karen Kendall (Vanderbilt)
