Convention 1884: Ann Arbor, Michigan

As provided by constitutional revisions that mandated Conventions be hosted by chapters in chapter order, the second Convention was held at Beta Chapter at #10 East Washington Street, Ann Arbor, Michigan, on November 15 and 16, 1884. Alpha Chapter sent three delegates. The password, presented at the previous Convention, was officially adopted, as was the signature — three Greek letters, Pi, Kappa and Epsilon (ΠΚΕ), written as a unit. Also at this Convention, procedures were created to name the Greek letter chapters. The fee to charter a new chapter was also set at $25.
