Epsilon Eta Chapter (Bridgewater State)

Epsilon Eta Chapter was installed at Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, Massachusetts, on November 22, 1987, making it Gamma Phi Beta’s 127th chapter.

More than 160 members and guests attended Epsilon Eta’s Installation luncheon at Anthony's Pier 4 Restaurant in Boston. Extension Supervisor Kendra Gates (California State-Long Beach) was the mistress of ceremonies and was joined by David Wilson, Bridgewater State College director of college relations and development, who warmly welcomed Gamma Phi Beta to campus. He praised the Sorority for being the first National Panhellenic Conference group at Bridgewater State College and cited the day as a milestone in the college's history.

The presentation of Founders Awards and gifts took place later in the program, and the day concluded with a reading of the poem “A Sorority Is” and the singing and Gamma Phi Beta songs.
