2022: Gamma Phi Gives Day
On March 8-9, 2022, the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation launched its first 24-hour online giving campaign: Gamma Phi Gives Day. The goal was to rally financial support from members and friends of Gamma Phi Beta using technological tools, including e-mail, social media and text communication.
Building on the success of previous campaigns like Chapter Challenge, Gamma Phi Gives Day focused efforts to a 24-hour period. Alumnae ambassadors helped spread the Gamma Phi Gives Day message across their personal networks, increasing the Foundation’s reach. Match donors encouraged others to join in their generosity by matching dollar-for-dollar for initiatives close to their hearts. The goal of $100,000 was exceeded. The inaugural Gamma Phi Gives Day raised an astonishing $179,826 from 806 gifts.
