Carnation and Honor Roll Award Applications
Carnation Award Application
The Carnation Award recognizes members whose outstanding achievements in fields outside the Sorority have brought them regional or national honor, or great distinction which reflects well on Gamma Phi Beta. Members of IC shall not be eligible for the Carnation Award while holding office. Nominations close July 31.
To be eligible for said award, the following criteria must be met:
- Nominees must be alumna members of Gamma Phi Beta.
- Potential recipients may nominate themselves or be nominated by another Gamma Phi Beta member. Nominations are considered complete once a completed nomination application has been received by Gamma Phi Beta International Headquarters.
- Members receiving the Carnation Award must be available to attend Convention in the year of their award. At Convention, those awarded will be expected to participate in a panel discussion regarding their accomplishments. Gamma Phi Beta will provide airfare and accommodations. For 2026, Convention will be held in Louisville, Kentucky, July 15 to July 19.

Honor Roll Award Application
The Honor Roll Award recognizes members in good standing who have created and developed a service for the Sorority that has contributed notably over a period of years toward the fulfillment of the aims of the organization, and members who have given distinguished service at the highest international level over a period of years. Members of International Council shall not be eligible while holding office. Nominations close July 31.
To be eligible for said award, the following criteria must be met:
- Nominees must be alumna members of Gamma Phi Beta and be in good standing with the organization.
- Potential recipients may nominate themselves or be nominated by another Gamma Phi Beta member. Nominations are considered complete once a completed nomination application has been received by Gamma Phi Beta International Headquarters.
- Members being considered for the Honor Roll Award must have had sustained service to Gamma Phi Beta and created or developed a service to the sorority that has had an organization impact.
