Facilities Management Company (FMC) Board of Managers

The Board of Managers supports the work of the FMC and provides mission-based leadership and strategic governance. Board members develop policies, procedures and regulations for the operation of the FMC and monitor and evaluate the FMC’s finances, programs and performance.


Jennifer Moody Ogden (Texas Tech)

Jennifer Moody Ogden is serving her first term as the Facilities Management Company (FMC) Board of Managers Chairwoman. Jennifer was initiated at Delta Epsilon Chapter (Texas Wesleyan) and graduated from Texas Tech University with B.A. in political science and the University of North Texas with a M.S. in accounting.

Jennifer currently leads the provider network and community planning practice at ECG Management Consultants, a global partner of Siemens Healthineers, where her work focuses on healthcare strategy and community health resource development. Prior to joining ECG in 2015, Jennifer spent 20 years in healthcare consulting and physician recruitment. She also co-founded, led and sold an international design and manufacturing business in the craft industry.

Within Gamma Phi Beta, Jennifer previously served in many volunteer roles including the Sorority's director of financial analysis, regional coordinator, Delta Epsilon (Texas Wesleyan) chapter advisor, Zeta Chi (Texas Christian) affiliated house corporation (AHC) treasurer, Greater Fort Worth Alumnae Chapter president, Taking a Stand program facilitator and as a member of the Foundation's Financial Aid Sub-Committee. She’s also an 1874 Society member.

Jennifer is an avid volunteer and is the past chair of the Board of Managers for Texas YMCA Youth and Government, a program focusing on experiential democracy for teens. She also helped found and co-led the Texas YMCA Model UN program for its first four years. The two programs together host more than 2,500 students at their top-level conferences annually. Jennifer received the highest annual volunteer award with Texas YMCA Youth and Government and the highest annual Texas Model UN volunteer award was named in her honor. Jennifer also serves on the board of Girls on the Run DFW and is a member of their executive committee. She previously served on boards for the Texas Girls Choir, Fort Worth YMCA and Texas Tech Alumni Association.

Jennifer resides in Fort Worth, Texas, in a 1924 Craftsman bungalow that she spent three years lovingly restoring with her husband Jim. She enjoys spending time with their three great pyrenees, traveling, cooking, baking and needlepoint.

Amy Apostol (Iowa)

Amy Apostol joined Gamma Phi Beta as a member of the Rho Chapter at the University of Iowa.  She holds a B.A. degree in English from the University of Iowa and a J.D. degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She is a longtime Sorority volunteer and has assisted with both collegiate and alumnae operations. Her volunteer roles include chapter advisor, affiliated house corporation (AHC) board member, regional director, Discipline (Membership Review) Committee, and the Technology Advisory Committee.

Amy is an attorney for the U.S. government in Washington, D.C., where she has worked extensively on national security matters, including personnel security and cybersecurity. Some highlights of her experience are working on high-profile federal court litigation, helping to create and establish a new federal entity for performing background investigations, supporting the development of responsible and effective legislation and providing legal advice and guidance to senior leaders of federal government agencies in both the executive and legislative branches. Amy is also an adjunct professor for Albany Law School’s master’s program in cybersecurity and data privacy. 

Amy’s volunteer service focuses on women’s issues, leadership and empowerment. In addition to her work for Gamma Phi Beta, she has supported the personal and professional growth of other women as a volunteer mentor and career advisor through a variety of platforms. This work intersects with support for the military community, and especially military spouses, through organizations like the Military Spouse JD Network, Mission Hire Me and Veterati.

Amy lives in the Washington, D.C., metro area with her husband and three children. She can be seen frequently on the sidelines of soccer games, in baseball stands or poolside cheering loudly for her kids.

Shery Layne (Texas Tech)

Shery is a native Texan who grew up in Midland, Texas, and obtained her B.B.A. in marketing from Texas Tech University and M.B.A. with a concentration in finance from University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). She was initiated into Beta Tau Chapter (Texas Tech) and served as the standards chairwoman.

Upon graduating from UTA, Shery began her banking career with NorthPark National Bank and continued with Comerica Bank after NorthPark was acquired. She has more than 35 years of banking experience in North Texas and with Comerica. Shery is a line lender and alternate group manager for the North Texas office of Commercial Real Estate for Comerica in Dallas, Texas. Prior to joining the real estate group in 1991, she was a middle market lender.

She is actively involved in her community serving as the United Way market chair and leadership chair for Comerica Bank, Texas, and more than eight years as a member of the Financial Education Grant Panel for the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas. She served in multiple positions with The Real Estate Council (TREC) and its foundation, as well as the Environmental Conservation Commission for the Town of Flower Mound. She currently serves on the Finance Committee for Flower Mound United Methodist Church. 

Shery’s hobbies include art, reading, jewelry making, greyhound rescue and traveling. She is also sailing certified and enjoys the occasional game of golf and tennis. She actively participates in circuit training and avidly practices yoga. Shery is a widow and has two grown children, a son Garrett who received his degree in meteorology and is a Delta Upsilon alumnus from University of Oklahoma and holds a M.S. in geographic information systems from University of Alabama, Huntsville. He currently works for NASA in Washington, D.C., in the Disasters Group. She has a daughter Erin who as a volleyball student athlete received her B.S. in nursing and is a Gamma Phi Beta alumna from University of Delaware. She is currently a traveling intensive care unit nurse.

Shery was interested in serving on the Facilities Management Company (FMC) Board or Managers in order to share her knowledge of construction and real estate management, help grow the Sorority and give back to the organization that provided her with many life-long friendships. She attended Convention 2018, in Dallas, Texas. She hopes to help guide the organization as it grows and navigates the changing political landscape regarding sororities on college campuses.

Mindy Sutton (Southern Methodist)

Melinda (Mindy) Sutton, Ph.D. is currently serving her second term as a Vice President on Gamma Phi Beta’s International Council. Mindy also serves as a member of the Sorority’s Bylaws Committee and Extension Committee. A member of Alpha Xi Chapter at Southern Methodist University, Mindy has a B.A. in public relations. She also received her M.S. in education with an emphasis in higher education and student affairs from Indiana University-Bloomington and her Ph.D. in educational leadership from the University of Texas at Austin. 

Mindy is currently the assistant vice chancellor for student affairs and dean of students at the University of Mississippi, overseeing the Office of Fraternal Leadership and Learning, Office of Leadership and Advocacy, Office of Conflict Resolution and Student Conduct and the Ole Miss Student Union. Mindy has also held positions in student affairs at Southern Methodist University and the University of Texas at Austin. She is a member of and volunteers for several professional organizations including the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors (AFA), Association for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA) and National Association for Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA). 

An 18-year volunteer for Gamma Phi Beta, Mindy has served as a chapter advisor, Facilitation Team member, affiliated house corporation board member, director of the New Chapter Team and chairwoman of the Discipline Committee. She also served as a collegiate leadership consultant and Gamma Phi Beta Foundation volunteer. 

In her local community of Oxford, Mississippi, Mindy serves on the Board of the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Lafayette County and is an active member of the Oxford-University United Methodist Church with her husband, Tim Noss.

Hillary Stevens (Morehead State)

Hillary joined Gamma Phi Beta in 1997, as a member of Epsilon Sigma Chapter (Morehead State). She holds a B.S. in Agriculture from Morehead State University and an M.B.A. from Ashford University.  Professionally, Hillary is a regional operations manager at a major United States crop insurance provider. As a Gamma Phi Beta volunteer, she has served as a regional coordinator, collegiate resources coordinator, a regional director and international team leader-regional operations.  

Dr. Judy E. Graham (Oklahoma)

Dr. Judy E. Graham holds four degrees: a bachelor’s degree in social work, a master’s degree in clinical social work, a master’s degree in special education and a doctoral degree in public administration.

Judy brings a strong business background to the role of International Council Vice President, as she was an account manager for 17 years at the international pharmaceutical company Eli Lilly. At Eli Lilly, Judy was responsible for presenting scientific data and negotiating contracts with health plans, hospitals and state Medicaid. Judy also has 25 years of experience in behavioral health and nonprofit management. She currently works as a consultant and content expert/grant reviewer for the U.S. Department for Health and Human Services and other nonprofit organizations.

Quality management is a strength Judy brings to Gamma Phi Beta. While at Eli Lilly, she became a certified Malcolm Baldrige Examiner. The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award is the highest level of national recognition for performance excellence that a U.S. organization can receive. Judy’s training prepared her to be on the Examiner team that evaluates organizations’ applications for the award.

While working as an executive director of a nonprofit, Judy participated in a year-long training program with Dr. Peter Drucker, a world-wide respected thought leader in the field of management. Judy takes inspiration from a famous quote of his, “Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things.” Judy believes getting to train with and meet Dr. Peter Drucker in person was one of the highlights of her career.

Judy has served Gamma Phi Beta in numerous roles over a lifetime, including Foundation Trustee, international philanthropy chair, international camping chair, endowment loan board member, Alpha Xi Affiliated House Corporation member, ritual advisor, among others.

Judy resides in Dallas, Texas, with her husband Neal Cullum Griffith. She enjoys tai chi, meditation, genealogy and walking.

Megan Smiley Wick (Washington State)

Passionate about Gamma Phi Beta since her days as a member of Beta Sigma Chapter (Washington State), Megan Smiley Wick has 22 years of experience as both a volunteer and staff member of Gamma Phi Beta. Megan currently serves as executive director of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, Foundation and Facilities Management Company and previously as director of Education and managing director of Risk and Policy.

Her Gamma Phi Beta volunteer experience began in positions such as international team leader- regional operations, regional team leader, sorority director-leadership and sorority director-human resources. Before joining Gamma Phi Beta, Megan was the multi-center director of Kaplan Test Prep for Austin and San Antonio, Texas, and director of Student Programs for the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Megan holds a B.S. from Washington State and a master’s degree in education policy, research and administration from the University of Massachusetts. Originally from Beaverton, Oregon, Megan and her husband Doug live in Greenwood Village, Colorado, with their three children Noelle, Colin and Stella, two cats and one goldfish. Go Cougs!
