Badge Orders, Refunds and Returns

Do you have questions about badge orders, refunds and returns? Here are a few quick tips. 

Badge Orders 

  • All new members must order a badge, including legacies.
  • Make sure to reference the badge selection instructions you receive from International Headquarters (IH) after your new members are added to Beta Base. 
  • Badge orders are processed and approved as a chapter after Initiation, and only after receipt of the completed Loyalty Pledge. This process can take six to eight weeks and could push the member's receipt of the badge to the semester following her Initiation. 

Badge Refunds 

  • A new member who de-pledges before Initiation will receive a 100% credit for her badge order. The process for this request must be done before the scheduled Initiation date. 
  • It’s the new member’s responsibility to request her refund from IH after the de-pledge process is complete, but before her scheduled Initiation date. 

Badge Return 

  • If a member resigns or de-pledges from the chapter, it is the chapter’s responsibility to collect and return the badge to IH. Refunds will not be processed for resignations or without a request after de-pledging.
