Leave Your Mark Through Your Will or Trust

To help you get started on your plans and legacy, you can use FreeWill, an online tool that guides you through the process of creating your will or trust. It’s easy to use, accessible online and can be completed in 20 minutes. You can use this resource on its own or use it to document your wishes before finalizing your plans with an attorney.

Have you already included a gift in your will or trust? Please fill out this form to let us know! We would love to thank you for your generosity and recognize you as a member of the Tau Epsilon Pi Society.

Beneficiary Gifts

Do you have an IRA, 401(k), life-insurance policy or any other assets not included in your will? If so, these are called non-probate assets, and you must plan your beneficiaries for them separately. Use this online tool to make your plans and designate us as a beneficiary of one or more of these assets.

Gifts with Immediate Impact

Rather than donating cash, many of our donors are opting for non-cash options that not only support Gamma Phi Beta sisters but may also offer a variety of tax benefits. Click the link below to learn more about giving stocks, gifts from your IRA and making a grant from a donor-advised fund.

Donor-Advised Fund Grants

Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) are investment accounts for the sole purpose of supporting charitable organizations today. The secure DAF giving link below:

  • Automatically links with your DAF.
  • Allows you to recommend how you’d like your gift to be used (e.g., area of greatest need or historical preservation).
  • Notifies the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation of your intentions.

Using this tool to make a grant from your DAF also saves us a lot of time, so thank you! It’s a great way to ensure consistent financial support while saving cash for immediate needs.

Stock Gifts

Donating stocks may allow you to avoid capital gains tax and often donors can take a charitable deduction for the full value of the asset. Use this tool to donate stock so we can track your gift, send you the correct receipt and you can get the tax savings you deserve.

If you prefer to make your donation through your broker, access our transfer information from the link above to notify Gamma Phi Beta of your gift.

Make a Tax-Free Gift

Beginning the year you turn 72, you can make a gift of any amount (up to $100,000) per year from your Individual Retirement Arrangements (IRA) directly to a qualified charity, like the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation which will satisfy all or part of your required minimum distribution.

You pay no income taxes on the gift. The transfer generates neither taxable income nor a tax deduction, so you benefit even if you do not itemize your deductions. Since the gift doesn’t count as income, it can reduce your annual income level. This may help lower your Medicare premiums and decrease the amount of Social Security that is subject to tax.

Use this free tool to complete your paperwork and we can track your gift to send you the proper tax receipts.
