Graduation might look a bit different this spring, but the pride we feel in the accomplishments of our senior members does not. Gamma Phi Beta wants to celebrate and recognize the contributions of the class of 2020! Thank you for building confident women of character who celebrate sisterhood and make a difference in the world around us. Whether you are a sister, friend, parent, mentor, family member or senior member, here are some ways to celebrate our class of 2020.

For our seniors, we celebrated with you on Bid Day, we want to honor you on graduation day and we will be here for you for a lifetime.

Congratulations on all your successes and many more to come!

Senior Celebration

We celebrated Gamma Phi Beta’s graduating seniors with a virtual Senior Celebration on Wednesday, May 27 via Zoom! And, heard from members of our class of 2020, International President Annabel Jones (Oklahoma), Executive Director Megan Wick (Washington State) and Girls on the Run Chief Executive Officer Liz Kunz. It was such a great way to celebrate our seniors.

Class of 2020

Can’t make it to our Virtual Senior Celebration? Join Director of Ritual Mary Knaup (California State-Fullerton), for a virtual Rite of Passage service. This service is meant to transition members from their collegiate membership to alumnae membership in Gamma Phi Beta and provide inspiration to our seniors about their futures as sisters. Like many rituals, be sure to bring a candle! You can even use a candle app on your phone.

Please register for the service you would like to participate in using the Zoom link for the date that works best for you. We are offering the service a few times so that members can choose what time fits best into their schedule. Plus, be Zoom ready with these fun background designs.

Members and non-members may participate. Attire is “Gamma Phi Beta Pride” – wear your favorite Gamma Phi Beta shirt or colors!

We love celebrating our graduating seniors on social media!

Are you seeking the perfect gift for your graduating senior? Consider sponsoring her first-ever international alumnae dues payment ($25*) or purchasing a Life Loyal membership ($299+**).

As our seniors graduate, they become alumnae in Gamma Phi Beta. With that comes responsibilities – to remain actively involved, recommend women for membership and always meet financial obligations. Gifting their first international alumnae dues payment or covering their dues for life is the perfect way to help our graduates transition to this new stage of membership.

We heart our graduating seniors and know you do, too! For $5 you can give a senior a virtual heart. She’ll receive an email with a special message – and it might just make her day! While honoring your senior, this supports the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation.

Looking to learn more about what it is like to be an alumna member in Gamma Phi Beta? Use the buttons below about how to connect, engage and mentor with Gamma Phi Beta in your alumna years!

*An international alumnae dues sponsorship covers the graduating senior from August 1, 2020, to July 31, 2021, as they have already paid their collegiate dues this fiscal year.

** Sponsoring a senior at the Life Loyal level means they never have to pay alumnae dues again!
