The vision statement was also revised into a powerful statement of intent expressing the leadership’s anticipated vision of the Sorority’s future. “We will build confident women of character who celebrate sisterhood and make a difference in the world around us.” And finally, the previous values statements were converted into a set of guiding principles, providing the “how” for the mission and vision. “These are the fundamentals for our decision-making as an organization,” said Financial Vice President Leigh Ann Price (Texas Tech) at the time. “Nothing we do will be detrimental to advocating ethical behavior, for example.”
