Collegiate Leadership Consultant Program
Collegiate leadership consultants (CLCs) are recent college graduates who work closely with Gamma Phi Beta collegiate chapters to promote officer, member and chapter success. As professional staff, they provide leadership and training, guide chapters in self-assessment, facilitate workshops and provide information, suggestions and ideas.
For 2027-29, CLCs will serve as residents for specific Gamma Phi Beta chapters to provide support in recruitment, retention, sisterhood and public relations.
Collegiate leadership consultants gain valuable professional skills to prepare them for a successful career in many different fields. Specially trained in all aspects of Gamma Phi Beta, CLCs serve many roles, from teacher to motivator to confidante.

Join the CLC Team
Each year, a group of recent college graduates are hired for two year terms to work closely with Gamma Phi Beta collegiate chapters, providing leadership education and professional support for chapter officers and members. Being a CLC is an exciting opportunity to grow professionally, build meaningful relationships with collegians, volunteers and staff and help support Gamma Phi!
The strongest CLC candidates are members who have held leadership positions in Gamma Phi Beta, the college Panhellenic council, a faith community, residence life, student government, community service or other student organizations.

HEAR FROM OUR CURRENT CLCs
Giana Galvan (California-Irvine)
"One thing I have really enjoyed while being a CLC is the lifelong connections I’ve been so fortunate to make with my collegians, advisors, professional staff and other alumnae through this role. Although we are the “experts” in the room, there are so many opportunities to learn even more from these collegiate leaders and volunteers, beyond our scope. It’s been an absolute reward to be surrounded by intelligent and determined women who all share the same passion of continuing to grow and strengthen our sisterhood."
Kylee Keplinger (South Florida)
"There are honestly so many benefits to being a CLC, but one of the biggest for me has been developing professional skills that I know I’ll take with me into any career. Working with an organization that I care so much about while strengthening my communication, adaptability, teamwork, and problem-solving skills has been a valuable experience. It’s an opportunity I’d choose over and over again! One of the biggest things I’ve learned as a CLC is that there isn't a right way to be a Gamma Phi Beta. Every chapter has its own personality and special traditions. But at the end of the day, our values are what continue bringing us all together. It’s been so fun learning how each chapter has its own experience while still sharing that same GPhi love across the board. Seeing what makes each chapter unique has been one of my favorite parts of this role!"
KJ Seymour (Union)
"One of the most valuable things I have learned during my time as a CLC is how to better connect with others. If you know me as a CLC, you may be shocked to hear I used to be a very shy and introverted person. I was worried these qualities would prevent me from being a good CLC, as interacting with people is a huge part of your job. I learned to use my experiences as a more shy person to connect with a wider variety of collegians and advisors. Along the way, I found my voice and now (as my collegians and coworkers can attest) I definitely use it!"
Ann Pomeroy (Michigan)
"While I’ve only just begun my CLC journey, it has already been more rewarding than I could have ever hoped for. I had poured so much of my heart into my chapter that I couldn’t imagine it all simply ending at graduation. Being a CLC has given me the opportunity to continue giving back while learning so much from the incredible chapters and sisters I get to work with.More than anything, being a CLC has shown me just how true and constant our sisterhood is. It takes no time at all to feel at home in a new chapter, you're surrounded by sisters who truly feel like family, like you've known them for years, but you may have just met. I'll cherish the memories I've already made and hold so much excitement for all the ones still to come! "

A typical week as a CLC would include 1:1 meetings with chapter officers, attending executive board and chapter meetings, coordinating marketing and outreach for ongoing recruitment, engaging in outreach to PNMs, collaborating with various chapter and campus stakeholders, meetings with Gamma Phi Beta staff and volunteers, time for administrative tasks like emails, chapter reports and expense reports and opportunities to attend sisterhood events and programs depending on the week.
