In the winter 2018 issue of The Crescent, we discuss how Gamma Phi Betas can help break the stigma around mental health. You will find stories from women who have been affected by mental illness in one way or another, and advice on how to appropriately talk about mental health.
Our 2017-18 collegiate leadership consultants (CLCs) took the time to speak with past consultants to learn more about the history of the program and get some advice. Read the fall 2017 issue to see what the CLCs learned and get to know them better! You'll also read about two sisters who have overcome immense obstacles in their lives, in part thanks to their Gamma Phi Beta sisters.
In the summer 2017 issue of The Crescent, you will read about Gamma Phi Betas who inspire those around them. From a sister who created a nonprofit to bring awareness to congenital heart disease to a sister who is studying the STEM fields and becoming a role model for young girls, this issue of the magazine will leave you feeling inspired. In addition, you will see photos of Gamma Phis Building Strong Girls at Girls on the Run 5ks and an infographic showcasing our philanthropic impact.
In this issue of The Crescent you will read about four members who have truly exemplified our member competencies. Don't forget to also read some of our favorite leadership tips from the 2017 REAL Leadership Conference.
