How do I log in to the registration site?
You will be asked to log in when registering for REAL Leadership Academy. You will use your username and password to log in to the event registration site. 

Who should attend?
All newly-elected chapter presidents and primary chapter advisors are expected to attend REAL Leadership Academy.

My chapter's funds are unable to cover the registration costs for REAL Leadership Academy. How do I apply for a scholarship in order to attend?
Click here to apply for a REAL Leadership Academy registration scholarship. All submissions are due by December 4 to be eligible for consideration. Selected chapters will be notified by Friday, December 8. 

What should I wear?
Attire for the weekend is business casual badge attire (no jeans, sweat pants, t-shirts, tank tops, flip flops or midriff-baring shirts). Business casual dress includes nice slacks, appropriate length skirts, sweaters, blouses and jackets. You will be provided a name badge upon arrival and will be expected to wear this throughout the weekend. Your membership badge should be worn at all times (except Saturday evening).

Saturday evening is casual attire and your chance to show your ΓΦΒ pride. For these events please wear your nice jeans and a Gamma Phi Beta t-shirt or sweatshirt. 

What should I bring?

  • Your badge.
  • Appropriate attire.
  • Your favorite Gamma Phi Beta attire for Saturday night.
  • A light sweater or wrap for the meeting rooms (these spaces are always chilly).
  • A notebook and pen to write down all your new ideas, tips and tools.
  • Ideas and questions.

What is included in the price?

  • Two nights double occupancy at the official REAL Leadership Academy hotel.
  • Complimentary airport shuttle to the hotel (for those flying in).
  • Complimentary guest room and public space internet.
  • Complimentary self-parking.
  • Customized programming for chapter presidents and advisors.
  • Meals to include:
    • Friday: buffet dinner
    • Saturday: heavy continental breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and buffet dinner
    • Sunday: heavy continental breakfast

What is not included in the price?

  • Airfare or transportation to/from St. Louis.
  • Lunch on Sunday.

What time do I need to arrive on Friday?
REAL Leadership Academy registration is available starting at 1 p.m. Hotel check in is available at 4 p.m.  The hotel will accommodate early arrivals based on room availability. If your room is not ready when you arrive, the hotel will store your belongings for you while you wait.

The Welcome Dinner and State of the Sorority will begin promptly at 6 p.m. Please be respectful of other attendees and be sure to arrive at the hotel no later than 5:45 p.m. Dinner will be served promptly at 6 p.m. and proper attire is expected. Please plan your travel plans and attire accordingly.

What time does everything conclude on Sunday?
All programming will be wrapped up by noon on Sunday. Lunch will be on your own. Please do not schedule departing flights prior to 1:30 p.m. as it is expected that you will attend all Academy programming.

What if my chapter has not paid for my attendance prior to my arrival?
Unfortunately, we are no longer able to accommodate attendees who have not paid for their event registrations. Please ensure that your chapter has paid for your attendance in full prior to arriving in St. Louis. If you arrive at REAL Leadership Academy and your chapter has not paid your registration fee, you will be unable to check in for the event. You will be allowed to pay your event fees onsite by check or credit card if necessary.

I have special dietary needs. Who do I contact?
Please indicate your allergies or dietary needs when you register. You will be provided multiple allergy cards at registration and will be required to bring these to all meals to indicate your preferences. All information will also be passed along to the hotel banquet staff.

I live locally. Can I commute to the hotel?
No, we do not allow event participants to commute to the hotel. All participants are required to stay on property to fully immerse themselves in the education, sisterhood and networking that the weekend has to offer.

We just held elections and our newly-elected president will be attending REAL Leadership Academy. How do we issue a name change if our current president already registered?
Once your new officers are elected, please have the original registrant do the following:

  • Go ​to ​the ​Home Page ​for REAL Leadership Academy 2018.
  • Click ​‘Already Registered?’ located at the bottom of the page. 
  • Enter ​the ​email ​address and confirmation number received at the time of registration.
  • On ​the ​next ​page, ​click ‘Substitute Registration.’ 
  • Enter ​the ​new information ​for ​the ​person ​replacing ​the current registrant. 
  • Click ​‘Finish.’ ​A ​confirmation ​page ​will ​indicate ​that ​the ​registration ​record ​was ​updated.

What is the deadline to submit a name change?
All name changes must be submitted within one week of the REAL Leadership Academy, which is February 16, 2018.

How do I register after our registration has closed?
You will need to email Page Adams to see if there is still availability.

While traveling to REAL Leadership Academy I encountered some travel delays. Who do I contact?
