YouTube is the best place on the web for watching cat videos, the most adorable judo fight on the internet and hundreds of corgis running on the beach, but YouTube is also a great place to learn a few things about leadership.
Here are the four YouTube channels leaders should subscribe to today:
MAKERS – AOL and PBS came together to create MAKERS which features vignettes and compelling stories from women across America. Subscribe to their channel and explore interviews of inspiring women with an array of leadership experience through history including Gloria Steinem, Sheryl Sandberg, Misty Copeland and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
SoulPancake – SoulPancake is in the business of figuring out what it means to be human and sometimes you just need to watch something that makes you feel good. Check out Street Compliments, The Science of Happiness and Kid President.
TED – TED Talks have been around for nearly a decade now but you can stay-up-to-date with the latest videos by subscribing to their channel. They post a new talk every weekday and watching one of these short, powerful videos is a great way for leaders to start the day.
MarieTV – What’s good enough for Oprah is good enough for us! Marie Forleo has worked with leadership gurus Tony Robbins and Richard Branson and was even dubbed as a thought leader for the next generation by Oprah. Her YouTube channel Marie TV features playlists such as Focus and Be Productive, Strengthen Your Mind and Soul and Overcome Fear and Limiting Beliefs.
