Gamma Phi Get-Together

On September 24, 1875, Gamma Phi Beta’s four Founders first met “in the room kindly furnished by Professor Brown,” whose namesake we draw our colors of brown and light brown (mode). To honor the sisterhood experienced that day that has continued for almost 150 years, we invite you to Gamma Phi Get-Together every September.

2025 event dates will be released at a later date.

WHAT IS THE GAMMA PHI GET-TOGETHER?

The idea is simple – get with a sister or several and do something fun on or around September 24! As pairs or groups of sisters join together, let’s celebrate the connection we have as Gamma Phi Betas. By coming together, we can show just how far our bond reaches – across collegiate chapter, distance, generations and more.

Looking for an opportunity to reconnect with sisters from college, set up a Zoom call! Do you have a group of sisters you meet up with often? See if they want to gather for a private Gamma Phi Get-Together. As events are registered, they will be added to the section below.

PUBLIC VS. PRIVATE GAMMA PHI GET-TOGETHER?

There are two types of Gamma Phi Get-Togethers – private and public. When registering your event, you will be asked to identify which event type you are hosting. Below are a few examples for each type.

Public Event

  • Promoted through the International Headquarters website, social media, and email.
  • Ideal for alumnae chapters who hope to engage all locale alumnae members through a fun fall alumnae chapter recruitment event.
  • Great for alumnae of a specific collegiate chapter who want to host a chapter-wide reunion.
  • Members who don’t live near an active alumnae chapter and want to make new friends!
  • Terrific for local volunteers of Advisory or AHC boards who find themselves saying, “We could use additional support on the board.”

Private Event

  • Registered with International Headquarters but not promoted publicly.
  • Great for collegiate chapter new member classes to reconnect – in-person or virtual.
  • Ideal for established groups such as volunteer teams to get to know each other outside the “norms” of volunteering – in-person or virtual.
  • Previous Collegiate Leadership Consultants looking for a way to connect in the fall – in-person or virtual.
  • Ideal for close friend groups of alumnae members who want to celebrate together – in-person or virtual.
