Seattle FAQ
All programming will conclude by 2 p.m. on Saturday. Optional activities will be provided for Saturday evening. Breakfast on Sunday will be on your own.
Refunds must be requested by February 16, 2024, to receive the full amount paid. Cancellations after the deadline are possible without a refund. Please contact Page Adams regarding cancellations.
We are no longer able to accommodate attendees who have not paid for their event registrations before arrival. Please ensure that you have paid for your attendance in full, prior to arriving in Seattle. If you arrive and your registration fee is still outstanding, you will be unable to check in for the event unless you pay on-site by check or credit card. All event fees should be paid by February 9, 2024.
Seattle in March guarantees rain for an authentic experience, but spring is in the air! The average high is 50 degrees, and the average low is 40 degrees, typically at night. The sun rises at approximately 6:15 a.m. and sets at approximately 7:15 p.m. Pacific Standard Time Zone.
Attire for Friday is casual unless you are participating in the fine dining experience. Saturday is dressy casual for the brunch banquet and casual in the evening. You will be provided with a name badge upon arrival and are expected to wear it throughout the weekend. Your membership badge should be worn on Saturday during the brunch banquet.

- Jacket or coat for Seattle weather
- A light sweater or wrap for the event space (these spaces are sometimes chilly)
- Money for incidentals, vendor purchases, airport transfers to and from the hotel, transportation to and from the events and meals on your own.

Yes, you may bring a non-member to any of our events.
No, the vaccination requirement was lifted on August 1, 2022.
This depends on the individual items you have selected to participate in over the weekend.

If you want to sponsor a table at one of our celebration banquets, please email Conferences and Meetings Coordinator Karima Soliman for a custom code for your guests.
In your email, kindly include the number of guests you want to sponsor and their first and last names. Payment will be required before the registration cancellation deadline, and further payment details will be provided after your initial inquiry.
For Syracuse, table reservations will not be able to be made until the 4th tier has opened.

Please indicate your allergies or dietary needs when you register. You will be provided with an allergy card at registration and will be required to bring this to all meals to indicate your preferences. All information will also be shared with the hotel banquet staff.
Accessible accommodations during the weekend can be found within the event registration form. Attendees seeking additional accommodations can select from those provided or provide accommodations not listed within the registration form. Additional accommodations questions can be directed to Page Adams.
Yes, a hotel stay is not required for those wanting to attend. The hotel is where the reception will be held and is a lodging option for those who are traveling from out of town.

COVID-19 Protocols
As of August of 2022, Gamma Phi Beta has lifted travel restrictions and health screenings at events.
Washington COVID-19 Protocols
State restrictions have been removed as of April 2022. It is recommended that those who do not feel well stay home and take precautions.
