Thank you to Collegiate Chapter Supervisor – South 1, Katie Gardner (Kennesaw State), for quite literally everything! With every new challenge I'm personally working through, Katie consistently offers a calm, balanced, informed and supportive perspective. She takes ownership of my requests when addressing obstacles and works quickly to find solutions or bring in the necessary resources. She truly makes our success as advisors a priority and for that, I'm infinitely grateful.
Thank you to Collegiate Chapter Supervisor – New Chapter Team, Tracy Stack (Florida State), for your dedication, perseverance and humor! Tracy has been a true and constant mentor for the women of Eta Phi Chapter (Virginia Commonwealth) as they have navigated being a new chapter in a pandemic. She is a thoughtful CCS, who collaborates with the advisory board and collegians to tackle difficult situations with grace.

The impact our volunteers make on our members lasts a lifetime. Connecting with individuals interested in volunteering and welcoming new volunteers into their roles is a unique way to experience sisterhood in Gamma Phi Beta.
Interested in committee level service? We currently have the following committee positions available:
- Belonging and Inclusion Committee Member
- Facilities Management Company Chairwoman

We are also have a variety of advisor positions open including chapter and financial advisors.
- Chapter advisors play a crucial role in the development of both collegians and alumnae members. They promote chapter, officer and member success by building and leading a thriving advisory board of alumnae members.
- Finance advisors are significant mentors and allies, promoting chapter financial wellness by collaborating with collegiate executive officers. Their knowledge and experience serve as the backbone of any collegiate advisory board.

April is volunteer appreciation month! Please join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of you, our volunteers. Now, more than ever, we want to recognize the time and talent that you bring to Gamma Phi Beta. With that, you may notice that this month’s HR Update has a little less business than usual and a little more celebration.
A new year means new events and programs! On February 26-27, Gamma Phi Beta will host the Belonging, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (BEDI) Summit. Our members continue to step up and fill many new regional roles during the regional restructuring that took effect last month. We continue to welcome new volunteers and adapt our operations to meet the needs of our members. Our Sorority would not be the viable women’s organization it is today without the love and loyalty our volunteers demonstrate every day!
As we approach the New Year, we are excited for the new opportunities and new perspectives our volunteer workforce has gained this past year. Connecting to each other and to Gamma Phi Beta remains at the forefront for our exceptional volunteers. Together, let’s embrace our momentum, renew our commitment and celebrate our resiliency!
