Accommodations

Gamma Phi Beta is elated to host the Orlando Reception at the Rosen Shingle Creek Orlando (9939 Universal Blvd. Orlando, Florida 32819)​​. Everyone is responsible for booking their own hotel room directly with the Rosen Shingle Creek Orlando. Come early or stay late to experience everything Orlando has to offer. ​​​​ 

Hotel Booking Information

    Call the Rosen Shingle Creek Orlando at 407.996.9939 and mention code Gamma Phi Beta Sorority or click here to book, modify or cancel your reservation at any time.  
  • Room Rates: $199 plus tax a night for Traditional King or Double Beds. Resort fees have been waived.
  • Checking-In/-Out: Check-in time is 3 p.m. and check-out time is 11 a.m. A valid credit card is required upon check-in to cover all expenses charged to your room. If using a debit card, the hotel will place a daily monetary hold for your incidentals of approximately $50 per day. The hotel will do their best to accommodate requests for early arrivals or late departures and is happy to provide luggage storage.
  • Extending Your Stay: Arrive early or stay late to enjoy all that Orlando has to offer! Our rate is available three days pre/post our event (subject to availability).
  • Hotel Reservation Deadline: All reservations must be made with the hotel by Thursday October 3, 2024, to guarantee the group rate. Reservations made after this date will be subject to the hotel’s current available rate.

Event Check-In

Stop by the Gamma Phi Beta help desk to pick up your materials and check-in. Help desk hours are noon to 6 p.m. on Friday and ​​10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.

Hotel Wi-Fi

For your convenience, Rosen Shingle Creek Orlando is pleased to offer complimentary basic Wi-Fi in all guest rooms.

Travel

All attendees are responsible for booking their own travel to and from Orlando and transportation throughout the weekend. Gamma Phi Beta is not responsible for travel buddy arrangements or agreements.

The Rosen Shingle Creek Orlando does not provide an airport shuttle service.

The closest airport to the reception hotel is Orlando International Airport (MCO).

Driving directions:
  • Take the north exit from the airport.

  • Take SR 528 West (Beachline Expressway)

  • Take Exit #2 Orangewood Blvd./Universal Blvd.
  • At the end of the exit ramp take a right at the light onto Universal Blvd.
  • Rosen Shingle Creek is immediately on the right, just before the Rosen School of Hospitality Management – UCF. 

Parking

    Hotel parking is available at the prevailing rates and is subject to change. 

  • Discounted self-parking: $20 plus tax per night

  • Valet parking: $40 plus tax per night
