Who We Are
Following extensive research and discussion, the 2010-12 International Council has adopted a refreshed Gamma Phi Beta mission statement, vision and guiding principles. These key Sorority phrases both preserve the history of the organization while ensuring its relevance for today’s member and pointing the way to Gamma Phi Beta’s future. In outlining the expectations for every member, International Council encourages each one to connect, impact and shine in ways that will promote the best of Gamma Phi Beta. Core Values
Each member of Gamma Phi Beta has taken an oath to uphold the highest standards of womanhood. As individuals, we all strive to live Gamma Phi Beta's Core Values, Love, Labor, Learning and Loyalty, in our daily lives. Living our Core Values demonstrates to the outside world what it means to be a Gamma Phi Beta.
Love: This Core Value focuses on your individual worth and promotes personal development, self-empowerment, self-respect, good character, honesty, integrity and self-image.
Labor: This Core Value focuses on service to humanity and promotes contributions to Gamma Phi Beta, the community, philanthropic endeavors, the National Panhellenic Conference and local Panhellenic activities and interest.
Learning: This Core Value focuses on intellectual growth and promotes lifelong learning, academic achievement, continued education and professional development.
Loyalty: This Core Value focuses on lifetime commitment and promotes staying connected to the Sorority by sharing your time, talent and treasures as an alumna. The potential to connect and network with other outstanding members continues long after graduation.
