Do you want to make a difference? Impact others? Connect with sisters? Help Gamma Phi Beta shine now and in the future?
Gamma Phi Beta volunteers are valuable supporters who devote their time, energy, experience and expertise to the Sorority. They impact policies and programs that affect our sisterhood and play an active role in the future of our Sorority. The benefits our Sorority and collegians receive from our strong core of alumnae volunteers are immeasurable and make a difference in the lives of women across the globe.
Enhance and develop skills
Volunteer positions provide our members with excellent opportunities for professional development and personal growth. Our volunteers work in a variety of areas for the Sorority and can explore new areas of individual interest while expanding their team-working, communication and relationship-building skills. Any resume is enhanced through volunteerism as your sharpen your business savvy, career knowledge, time-management and aptitude.
"My ability to showcase skills I gained through managing volunteers, projects and budgets for Gamma Phi Beta allowed me to advance in my career and prepared me for new responsibilities as an executive in a corporate environment."
-Julie Dunn (Florida State), VP of Sales and Marketing for Turner Network Sales
Meet new friends and expand your network
Gamma Phi Beta volunteers value developing new friendships with sisters across the globe. Volunteer opportunities vary from working with collegians to working with other alumnae. Volunteers connect with each other at Convention, conferences and small group meetings. Our Sorority volunteers enjoy working with other sisters and promoting the highest type of womanhood as they develop lasting personal and professional relationships.
Whatever your schedule allows, Gamma Phi Beta has a volunteer position for you! You can start small by volunteering at a one-time event such as recruitment or Initiation; some members even "e-volunteer," serving volunteer hours electronically.
