Scholarships
Scholarships and fellowships are available through the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation. Collegians facing sudden unforeseen financial crises that might force them to withdraw from college are eligible to apply for an emergency grant-in-aid by contacting International Headquarters.
Scholarship Application for Undergraduate Study
- Scholarship applications must be received by January 31, 2012, for consideration for the next school year.
- Must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Must demonstrate financial need and an effort to obtain other funds.
- Must be an initiated member for at least six months (from time of application) and in good standing.
- Preference will be given to applicants demonstrating significant contributions to Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.
- Must be a full-time student and active Gamma Phi Beta member for the school year the scholarship money is to be used.
Fellowship Application for Graduate Study
- Fellowship applications must be received by January 31, 2012, for consideration for the next school year.
- Must demonstrate scholastic achievement and must submit proof of acceptance into a graduate program before award check can be disbursed.
- Must demonstrate financial need and an effort to obtain other funds.
- Applicant must be a member in good standing, including payment of $25 for international alumnae dues.
- Must demonstrate commitment to graduate study.
- Preference will be given to applicants demonstrating significant contributions to Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, campus service or community service.
Grants-in-Aid
- Applications are accepted at any time.
- Applicant must face unforeseen financial crises that might force withdrawal from college.
- Funding must be used for an educational purpose (tuition, books, etc.).
- Applicant must be an initiated member in good standing.
