Gamma Phi Beta Foundation Welcomes New Executive Director
deKieffer selected to lead organization beginning in late Septmeber
The Gamma Phi Beta Foundation is pleased to announce the hiring of Kitty deKieffer as the organization's new Executive Director, effective September 26, 2011.
"Kitty brings significant experience and success in fundraising to her new role with the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation," noted Linda Daniel Johnson, Foundation Chair. "We are excited to have her join the Board of Trustees and staff in leading the Foundation to new levels of excellence."
With more than 30 years of non-profit management experience, Kitty's skills include marketing, public relations, financial management and foundation leadership, as well as proven success in fundraising. Kitty is currently the Executive Director of the Boulder Mental Health Partners Foundation in Boulder, Colorado, and also serves as the Development and Public Information Director of Mental Health Partners, serving Boulder and Broomfield Counties. A member of the Association for Fundraising Professionals, she is also a member of the Boulder County Estate Planning Council, Colorado Planned Giving Council, CU Director's Club and an honorary Trustee for the Women's Foundation of Colorado.
A graduate of California State University Fullerton with a bachelor's degree in accounting, Kitty is a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. She has served her sorority as both a Trustee and Chair of the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation.
"As someone with a passion for the sorority experience and promoting self-sufficiency in women and girls, Kitty is an excellent choice to lead the Foundation in its mission of supporting and inspiring the lifelong development of women," Johnson elaborated.
