Joining as an Alumna Member
There are two groups of alumnae members of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority.
- Women affiliated with a Gamma Phi Beta Chapter on their college campus become alumnae members upon graduation.
- Alumnae initiates join Gamma Phi Beta as alumnae members. They may be women who never attended college, who attended a school that did not have a Gamma Phi Beta chapter or who didn't join or have the opportunity to join a nationally-recognized sorority while in college.
An alumna initiate may be any woman who meets the high standards of Gamma Phi Beta membership. She may be a friend, neighbor, mother or sister of a Gamma Phi Beta. Alumnae of a local sorority that has been accepted as a Gamma Phi Beta colony are also eligible to become alumnae initiates.
These women will enjoy new friendships, involvement and opportunities to make worthwhile contributions to the Sorority. Alumnae initiates not only support alumnae chapters, but collegiate chapters as well by becoming advisors and volunteers.
