Recommend a New Member
Alumnae play a key role in Gamma Phi Beta's recruitment and growth by recommending potential new members to the Sorority.
Every member can participate in recruitment by supplying references for potential new members. A reference provides information on the candidate's qualities that make her compatible with Gamma Phi Beta's core values and illustrate the contributions she may offer our Sorority. References are a very helpful tool during recruitment!
Those with legacies (daughters, sisters, granddaughters of members, including "step" relations) are also encouraged to complete a Reference Form to introduce a legacy candidate. References help identify legacies so chapters can responsibly recruit them with special consideration.
We also encourage members to write references for potential new members at our extension colonies.
Your reference form may be completed online and printed in the Member Forms area, however you are not able to save it.
If you prefer emailing to using the U.S. Postal Service, you may:
- Complete the Reference Form by hand
- Scan, along with any attachments you’d like to include (photo, grade report, letters of reference, etc.)
- Email to the appropriate Alumnae Reference Chairwoman/Membership vice president
- If available, email addresses are included on the Alumnae Reference Chairwoman list under the “Where to Send Reference Forms” link below.
