International Council
An elected seven-member International Council formulates the strategic plan, policies, procedures, oversees growth and development on an international level. The International Council customarily meets four times a year. All chapters receive advance notice of meetings and may submit business for consideration by sending it to the International President. Eight officers serve on the International Council: International President, Alumnae Vice President, Collegiate Vice President, Financial Vice President, Education Vice President, Membership Vice President, Panhellenic Affairs Vice President and Executive Director. The Executive Director is employed by Gamma Phi Beta, appointed by International Council, and is a non-voting member.
International Council is the governing body of the Sorority, supporting our collegiate and alumnae chapters. International Council consists of seven elected officers and the Sorority’s Executive Director. Council members are volunteers who dedicate their time and talent to govern the policies and programs of Gamma Phi Beta.
