Lifelong Benefits
Every member of Gamma Phi Beta is selected to lifetime membership in the international Sorority. Members enjoy rights, privileges and responsibilities wherever they may live, study, work or travel. Your collegiate experience with Gamma Phi Beta is unique. But after graduation, what can Gamma Phi Beta offer you?
Alumnae Chapter Membership
Our more than 170 alumnae groups across North America are opportunities for members to socialize, serve and lead outside of college. Many sisters connect with an alumnae group after moving to a new town and find instant friendships with those who share a common bond. Others join their local alumnae group after graduation, making a smooth transition to alumnae life. Wherever you come from, your nearest group of alumnae members is ready to welcome you and give you a place to continue living our values of Love, Labor, Learning and Loyalty.
Volunteer Opportunities
As an alumnae member, your experience is valuable to those just starting their Gamma Phi Beta experience in college. You can apply to serve on the local, regional or even international level. As a volunteer-led organization, the Sorority relies on alumnae to manage, lead and direct.
mysisterlink Connections
As a member, you have access to our social networking site, www.mysisterlink.com. A free service for Gamma Phi Beta members only, mysisterlink is a wonderful tool for connecting with sisters around the corner and around the world! You can join online groups that focus on specific hobbies or topics and meet other sisters who share your interests. It’s also a great way to “find” sisters you’ve lost touch with after graduation.
Magazine Subscription
The dues you paid in college (or as an alumnae initiate) guarantee a lifetime subscription to our member magazine, The Crescent. Published quarterly, The Crescent is your source for information about international Gamma Phi Beta. With articles appealing to the wide range of our readers, ages 17 to 100-plus, the magazine is an important source of pride in our sisters, our sisterhood and our heritage. Take time to read it, then send your letters and submissions to the editor at TheCrescent@gammaphibeta.org.
