Doing Business with ΓΦΒ
The International Headquarters of Gamma Phi Beta is located in Centennial, Colorado, a Denver suburb. The facility is a combination of the Sorority offices, Foundation offices, conference room space, museum, and sleeping quarters. The staff for both the Sorority and the Foundation occupies the office space; the museum, a repository for our treasured archival materials, is housed in another part of the building. International Council, Foundation Trustees, Collegiate Leadership Consultants and other departmental members who gather for meetings or training may stay in the sleeping quarters.
International Headquarters Staff
Gamma Phi Beta is a membership driven organization. International Council is the governing body, elected by the membership, and is chaired by the International President. International Headquarters, the business arm of the Sorority, is managed by the Executive Director and functions at the direction of the International Council. The collegiate and alumnae membership contribute dollars, time and their skills to fulfill our mission.
The staff at International Headquarters performs a variety of tasks (some of which are):
- collects information; maintains records, forms and manuals
- provides technical support to the membership
- produces the Crescent and other publications
- ships supplies/mass mailings
- coordinates meetings, i. e.: Convention, Regional Leadership Conferences and Leadership Development Institute
- supports both the chapters and volunteers
- provides daily financial transactions
