Recognition Gifts

Recognition gifts include purchasing a brick for Sisterhood Plaza or making an In Celebration or Memorial gift.

Sisterhood Plaza
Symbolizing a solid path to Gamma Phi Beta Sorority's future, our Sisterhood Plaza is a tangible reminder of our commitment to leadership, philanthropy and financial aid. Give an unrestricted gift of $125 or more and a personalized brick will be installed to honor the sister, chapter or occasion of your choice! Each brick accommodates three lines of text (14 characters per line).

There are so many great reasons to give a brick!
  • To show pride in your membership, our sisterhood or your collegiate or alumnae chapter
  • To thank a special sister, advisor or mentor
  • To remember a loved one
  • To celebrate your daughter's legacy, initiation or graduation
  • To make a lasting tribute to a closed chapter or celebrate a special anniversary

In Celebration Gifts
Members and friends of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority often recognize special events or accomplishments with In Celebration gifts to the Foundation. When making this gift, select 'In Celebration' from the drop-down menu in the designation box. Suggested minimum donation is $25. For each gift, the honoree is notified and acknowledgement is published in The Crescent magazine.

Memorial Gifts
There are several ways to honor a deceased member, family member or friend with a gift to the Foundation.
  • In Memory gifts are acknowledged in The Crescent and the deceased member's family or alumnae chapter is notified. When making this gift, select 'In Memory' from the drop-down menu in the designation box. Suggested minimum donation is $25.
  • A named endowment leaves a lasting legacy and provides aid to members in need.
  • Any member may request that, in the event of her death, donations be given to the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation in lieu of flowers.
