Gamma Phi Beta believes that girls need to be mentally, socially and physically strong to achieve their potential. Our mission to Build Strong Girls began in the 1920s as Gamma Phi Betas identified a desire to provide underprivileged girls a retreat from their daily circumstances and a place to learn about themselves and build character for facing life's challenges. Since 1959, we have given nearly $2.3 million in total grants to our philanthropic partners. Gamma Phi Beta chapters raising funds to support Building Strong Girls are encouraged to complete the Philanthropy Grant Application from the Foundation.
