Financial Aid

Each year, the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation distributes thousands of dollars to outstanding Gamma Phi Beta scholars across the United States and Canada who demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence. In 2006-2007, the Foundation awarded $137,450 for 81 scholarships and fellowships to help these women meet their educational goals in the 2007-2008 school year.
As one member told us, "The Foundation's application process for receiving a scholarship was very easy. I just downloaded the application and gathered my references." Applications for a scholarship or fellowship, with all accompanying references, must be received at the Foundation office by January 31.
The Foundation also provides grants-in-aid to collegians and alumnae facing an unforeseen financial crisis. In 2006-2007, the Foundation provided two grants-in-aid to help sisters address financial hardship due to a job loss, illness or disability, death or serious illness of a family member.
A grant-in-aid for a collegiate or alumna member may be submitted at any time.
