Gamma Phi Beta has created a collegiate officer position, the Safety & Wellness Consultant (SWC), to help teach and integrate personal safety and healthy living education into chapter events and programming. The SWC helps our members learn how to make positive and healthy decisions now, and in the future, by proactively surveying chapter members at the start of the semester with a variety of health and wellness questions to determine current member lifestyles. Using the results from the survey, the SWC works with the chapter's education vice president to develop a healthy lifestyle plan for the chapter, integrating ideas into sisterhood events, chapter meetings and the chapter's overall Risk Management Plan.
