Crescent correspondents are responsible for submitting chapter news and photographs to International Headquarters for publication in the Sorority Life section.
What to Submit
Please use the Crescent Correspondent Form for proper formatting. Because of the volume of submissions, each chapter will be given space to describe a recent or upcoming event in ONE of the following categories, at the chapter's discretion:
- Philanthropy: fundraisers, community service projects, etc.
- Sisterhood: retreats, formal, recruitment, alumnae events, etc.
- Scholarship: campus awards/recognition, PACE programs, educational seminars, etc.
- Leadership: Sorority conferences, workshops, campus honors, etc.
- Safety and Wellness: fitness events, wellness seminars, etc.
Be specific (think who, what, where, when, why and how) and include any unique details. Word count of 40 or less is appreciated (material is subject to revision).
News about an individual will not be included in Sorority Life.
How To
- Complete the Crescent Correspondent Form (see below). Without the form, your submission will no longer be considered.
- Copy your chapter advisor on the email.
- File a copy of the submission in your working notebook.

When to Submit
The Crescent is a quarterly publication; therefore, items submitted for publication will be published up to three months after the deadline date. Late submissions may not be included, at the discretion of the editor.
Submission Deadlines
- Fall issue - August 1 for October publication
- Winter issue - November 1 for January publication
- Spring issue - February 1 for April publication
- Summer issue - May 1 for July publication
