CREATION OF THE CARNATION AWARD
One of the Sorority's most prestigious honors, the Carnation Award, was first awarded at Convention 1974, in honor of the Sorority's 100th anniversary. The award recognizes members whose outstanding achievements have brought them great honor or distinction. Since its creation, more than 80 women have received this esteemed honor.
