THE GAMMA PHI BETA NEW MEMBER PIN APPROVED
Originally called a 'pledge pin,' each new member of Gamma Phi Beta receives a new member pin to wear during her new member period. It is returned to the chapter at Initiation. The new member pin is worn over the heart with the outer points of the crescent pointing up.

The new member badge was approved at the 1902 Convention in California.
