International Headquarters is Dedicated in Centennial, Colorado
INTERNATIONAL HEADQUARTERS DEDICATED IN CENTENNIAL, COLORADO
Gamma Phi Beta International Headquarters was dedicated on April 26, 1992. International President Jolene "Joey" Lessard Stiver served as Mistress of Ceremonies for the festive occasion.
In addition to a ribbon cutting and the unveiling of a monument to
honor the donors to the construction, the occasion featured a Dedication
Service by past Grand President Audrey Weldon Shafer
(Missouri-Columbia, 1938). Another past Grand President, Ann Mullen
Bronsing, presented an address at the celebration.
Included in
the more notable historical items at International Headquarters is a
chandelier, located at the front entrance of International Headquarters.
It is from the Paramount Theater in downtown Denver and was donated
when the theater was reconstructed. Many other Sorority treasures dating
all the way to the late 1880s are also on prominent display throughout
our building and museum.
The 12,000 square foot structure employs more than 30 staff who work for the Sorority and Foundation, not including the team of collegiate leadership consultants traveling to campuses throughout North America.
Gamma Phi Beta Sorority is the only interfraternal organization headquartered in the state of Colorado!
